About Our Neighborhood

Prestonwood Homeowners are Proud of their Neighborhood
Whether it's a backyard cookout, a game of ball, or a day of working in the yard, our neighborhood with its profusion of Pines, Dogwoods and Crepe Myrtles is a wonderful place to live, work and play.
We are a diverse community boasting residents of many different cultures, ethnic backgrounds, ages and lifestyles. Our residents include teachers, realtors, military, government workers, tradespeople, designers, consultants, many self-employed entrepreneurs, retirees - you name it, they probably live here.
We have a Board of Directors elected by the homeowners to be the governing body of the community. Board meetings are open to everyone (owners and renters alike) and residents are encouraged to attend to share ideas, concerns, suggestions and comments about our community.

We are a Lease Restricted Association
We are restricted to 7 (seven) leased properties in the Association.  It is mandatory for all owners to obtain approval from the Prestonwood Board before renting their property.more info.

What is a Homeowners Association?
It is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the state of Georgia. Membership is mandatory. Each owner automatically becomes a member of the Association upon acquiring a home or a plot of land in the subdivision. The Association is governed by the Declarations of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs), and operated according to the Bylaws of the corporation. Every homeowner should read these documents. If you did not receive a copy of these documents from your title company at closing, you can  view them on this website in the Prestonwood Documents tab. Please contact [email protected] with any questions regarding the documents.

Assessments are $465.00 per year and due on the first of March. You can securely pay your dues on this website.

The Major Responsibilities of the Association
  • Protection of Homeowners' investments.
  • Enhance the value of their properties by providing physical maintenance and operations of common properties (pool, tennis court, landscape of common areas, etc.).
  • Common services (insurance, etc.).
  • Enforcement of deed restrictions.
  • Collection of assessments.
  • Social and recreational programs.
  • Lowering the costs of operating budgets.

We are a warm, friendly community and love to welcome all who come our way.
